What Halloween Horror Nights 24's lineup should be

Halloween is only 3 days away, so to get in the Halloween spirit, today's and Wednesday's blog post will be Halloween based! Of course, with Halloween around the corner, this means the end of Halloween at theme parks. I didn't get the chance to visit Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando this year, but that was more out of the fact I was only interested in a few houses. In this blog post I'll be going over what next year's HHN lineup in Orlando should be.

Houses:

                                                            American Horror Story

Location: Soundstage 21

Yes, TNA Impact is returning soon, but I'm betting by HHN it'll be gone again. This was a rumored house this year but it never panned out, and I think that was a dumb move by Universal. The show is a hit and you had two very different seasons to work with, the first a haunted house and the second an asylum. Now the third season has a witch coven making it even more cramped. If I were in charge, next year I'd just have seasons two and three take up the biggest soundstage. With narration by Jessica Lange, the first part of the maze would be the asylum then Bloodyface's skinning chamber. Since Coven has only aired three episodes so far, but from what we've seen, the coven, Misty Day's hideout, and Laveau's voodoo scene would work great.

                                                                   The Last of Us

Location: Soundstage 22A

Screw The Walking Dead, this and the next house should be the zombie themed houses. There's certainly a lot to work with here, so it'd be taking up 3/4th's of the soundstage. What about the other quarter? Look right below.

                                                               Shaun of the Dead

Yup, this is the other zombie house. This year lacked a comedic house, and this would fit the bill perfectly. Since there's not much but enough to work with, it'll take up the rest of 22A.

                                                                      The Shining
Location: Soundstage 24

Come on, tell me this wouldn't make a great house. It's a Stephen King/Stanley Kubrick classic and would have awesome scares. Remember, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! Plus who wouldn't want a Jack Nicholson look alike coming at you with an axe?

Moving over to the Disaster queue, an original house will be here, the tent by Kidzone, and the parade building. Right now I'll be talking about the tent between Men in Black and Springfield, and I'm sure you all know where I'm going here.

                                                                Treehouse of Horror

Too bad it wasn't HHN 24 this year, it would have gone hand in hand with this. This is looking like a likely bet at this point with Springfield. Yes, this would mean two comedic houses, but it would make up for the lack of one this year. Some of the best bits would be recreated, I have no idea where to start. Donut Hell, the House of Evil, there's just too much to fit in. Shout out in the comments what THOH sketch you'd like to see in a potential house!

That's all for now, join me for another Halloween post on Wednesday!
